Overcome adversity: Step into the life you were born to live!

Justin Michael Williams is an author, transformational speaker, and top-20 recording artist who has become a pioneering voice for diversity and inclusion in wellness.
From growing up with gunshot holes outside of his bedroom window, to sharing the stage with Marianne Williamson and Deepak Chopra, Justin knows well the pain of adversity and the power of healing to overcome. He has since been featured by The Wall Street Journal, Grammy.com, Billboard.com, The Root, The Advocate, Yoga Journal, and South by Southwest. He is a recurring keynote corporate and higher education speaker at places such as Google, VMware, Bloomberg, and universities around the world, and is a voting member of the GRAMMY Awards Recording Academy.
With his groundbreaking book Stay Woke, and over a decade of teaching experience, Justin’s message of hope and empowerment has spread to more than 40 countries around the globe, particularly through his national "Stay Woke, Give Back" tour bringing mindfulness to youth in underserved communities. Justin is dedicated to using his voice to serve; to being a beacon of hope for those who are lost, and to making sure all people, of all backgrounds, have access to the information they need to change their lives.

Laura Davis

Finding your way to reconciliation with clarity and compassion.

Laura Davis is the author of The Burning Light of Two Stars: A Mother-Daughter Story, the story of her loving yet tumultuous relationship with her mother, and six other non-fiction books.
 The Courage to Heal and The Courage to Heal Workbook paved the way for hundreds of thousands of women and men to heal from the trauma of sexual abuse. Becoming the Parent You Want to Be, a rich resource guide co-authored with parenting expert Janis Keyser, helped parents develop a vision for the families they want to create. And I Thought We'd Never Speak Again: The Road from Estrangement to Reconciliation taught the skills of reconciliation and peace building to the world, one relationship at a time.
Laura’s groundbreaking books have been translated into 11 languages and sold two million copies. In addition to writing books that inspire, the work of Laura’s heart is to teach. For more than twenty years, she’s helped people find their voices, tell their stories, and hone their craft. Laura loves creating supportive, intimate writing communities online, in person, and internationally. You can learn about Laura’s books and workshops, read the first five chapters of her new memoir, and learn about her upcoming June retreat in Tuscany on her website which we’re sharing next to this video.

SPEAKER THREE: Nancy Lee Klune

Nancy Lee Klune

Surviving separation and struggles in family. Live your best life!

Nancy Lee Klune is a well known author who also holds a master’s degree in music with continuing graduate studies in counseling psychology. She has worked as a teacher, music therapist, and activities director in the field of addiction.
A former professional dancer/choreographer, she is also a classical pianist, composer, and author of several children’s books. Nancy’s book “Banished: A grandmother alone, Surviving Alienation and Estrangement” is held in high esteem throughout the estrangement community. She currently coaches people dealing with alienation and estrangement.

Faythe Buchanan, B.SC.(OT)

Faythe Buchanan is an Occupational Therapist who has worked in mental health since 1987. From the tragedies experienced by soldiers in frontline war, to the pain of sexual vandalism in pedophile rings, Faythe has listened to the traumatic stories that life brings to many people. She has also worked with the trauma of grief from sudden illness, the loss of relationships and jobs, the stunning effects of car accidents and the myriad challenges from everyday life that all of us survive.
Faythe Buchanan has a Bachelor of Science with Honors in the area of Occupational Therapy, she is a Certified Neuroscience of Conversation, LAB Profile Trainer, Former President of the Canadian Association Of Professional Speakers Atlantic, CAPS Member and Peer Support Chair. She is also the author of 2 books which spread the word that there are solutions to anxiety. Faythe has worked in hospitals, for Victim Services and had her own practice for many years.
Faythe’s programs teach you to hack and update your own subconscious where most motivational power comes from. Her mission is to change people’s relationship with anxiety so it no longer blocks their happiness and productivity.

SPEAKER FIVE: Dr. Zoe Shaw

Dr. Zoe Shaw

How to overcome relationship challenges and heal through self-care and self-talk transformation.

Dr. Zoe Shaw is a licensed psychotherapist, motivational speaker, podcast host, life coach, and fitness fanatic.
She is a wife and mom of five. She is passionate about helping women develop strength in difficult relationships, including that sometimes difficult relationship with themselves.
After 15 years in traditional psychotherapy practice, Dr. Zoe jumped off the couch and now helps clients using a different modality with a mix of virtual therapy, coaching services, and programs designed specifically for women trying to have it all, who sometimes struggle in the superwoman game.
Dr. Zoe is the author of the Ask Dr. Zoe column for the Grit and Grace Project’s online women’s magazine, and she has been featured on OprahMag.com and in Recovery Today Magazine. She writes about helping women redefine their strength.
Dr. Zoe lives in Southern California with her husband, their kids, and a gang of labradoodles.

Together with her husband, Yasmin Co-founded Family Support Resources, an organization helping transform the lives of all people living with family conflict and estrangement, out of a passion to shine a light on family struggles that are rarely discussed, and uplift and inspire those experiencing these challenges.
From her own journey of family difficulties, Yasmin learned how to embrace circumstances with loving acceptance, overcome grief, and reclaim life. She is now committed to helping others heal from the pain of family conflict and start living again.
Driven by her own experiences and an empathy for others, Yasmin has spent the past fifteen years researching relationships and working on methods of healing and overcoming all forms of family estrangement. Beyond her research on relationships, life coaching, and personal journey, she has earned two degrees; A Science Degree majoring in Microbiology and Human Physiology, and an Art’s Degree majoring in Philosophy and Politics. Yasmin leverages her knowledge in these fields to better understand and explain the intersection between our mental health and our physical health.
Yasmin is devoted to helping people receive the things she believes everyone deserves in life – love, safety, and joy.
